Spring Break in Wyoming
Looking for a fun way to spend your spring break? Don’t let our cold Wyoming springs fool you, there are plenty of fun winter activities to do without breaking the bank on travel expenses and airfare. One of the benefits to those late-season chills is the fact that Wyomingites can enjoy their winter festivities just a little longer. Whether you are an avid Skier or enjoy the speed of the snowmobile, there are several close-by trails and resorts that stay open well into the spring for your perfect winter getaway!
Another cold-weather activity that is gaining popularity is fat biking. With extra-wide tires designed to ride on snow and icy terrine, mountain bikers don’t have to wait for warmer days to enjoy the trails. Curt Gowdy State Park is just a short drive from Cheyenne and provides access to bike trails, play areas, and hiking trails. Rain or shine (more like Snow or shine), there are also several places for Wyomingites to enjoy a day of fishing and fun.
Looking for a more laid-back experience? There are several hot springs across Wyoming that offer the perfect soothing experience for a relaxing spring break. You can travel to Colorado, Jackson Hole, or South Dakota, but our Cowboy State favorites are in Thermopolis Hot Springs State Park and Saratoga Resort and spa.
For those warmer spring days, you have several available activities. There are over 100 golf courses around the state to enjoy the gorgeous greens that those late spring snows produce!
Prefer to stay inside? Fear not, there are also several ways to spend your spring with family and friends. Explore some of the many Cowboy state museums, spend a day shopping in Cheyenne, or take a quick day-trip to Fort Collins, CO. You can also see https://www.cheyenne.org/events/
